Ten youths with special successes were awarded by the Chisinau mayor Thursday at the 12th edition of the Annual Youth Award in arts, theater, choreography, music and sports, Info-Prim Neo reports. The winners got prizes of 5,000 lei, diplomas and medals. Among them: 16 young sportspeople having participated in the Beijing Olympics. Their 11 trainers got by 3,000 lei from the municipal budget. According to Dorin Chirtoaca, the awards shall motivate other youths to strive for success. The Youth Award in arts, theater, choreography, music and sports has been conferred since 1996.
