The villagers from Tantareni, Anenii Noi district, can ask to get free advice from doctors starting Tuesday, January 27. They can go to family doctors offices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10.00 to 14.00. In case of need, the program will be extended, Info-Prim Neo reports. Chisinau's health direction head Mihai Moldovanu stated at the City Hall's staff meeting the people that will have to be hospitalized will go to the municipal hospitals. The medical consultations were one of the claims put up by a group of protesters last week, who did not allow the garbage trucks to go to the dump near the village. The locals complain the dump over-pollutes the their village. According to deputy mayor Nistor Grozavu, the City Hall considers the possibility to compensate medicines for the villagers. The City Hall plans to build an aqueduct in the village. The villagers claim the water in wells is polluted because of the dump and ask to analyze it. The Tantareni dump is projected to work till December 31, 2010.
