A man who went fishing drowned after his rubber boat overturned. The tragedy happened near a pond in Balabanu village, Taraclia district, Info-Prim Neo learned from the press officer of Civil Protection and Exceptional Situations Service Liliana Puscasu. According to villagers, the 31-year-old man went fishing with his godson. The rubber boat broke and the two men fell in the water. One of them swam to the bank, but the other couldn’t get back to the surface and drowned. The body was recovered the second day. Villagers were surprised by the happening, as the deceased was an experienced fisherman.
