The new strain of influenza A virus subtype H1N1was detected in 10 more Moldovans on Tuesday, November 4. Five of them are minors aged between 14 and 18, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Ministry of Health. The infected persons were admitted to the Infectious Diseases Hospital “Toma Ciorba" in Chisinau. A man who returned recently from Russia died at the Drochia District Hospital on Monday. That was the second death caused by the A (H1N1) flu virus in Moldova As many as 177 suspect cases of pandemic flu have been reported in Moldova by this morning. The virus was detected in 39 cases. So far, it caused the death of two men aged 35 and 50.
