The Chisinau International Airport cancelled the tender contest for leasing out assets intended for public catering and specialized trade for the sterile area inside the terminal, IPN reports.

In an announcement, the Airport said that the deadline for applications to participate in the tender contest expired on October 19. The tendering commission, which met on October 21, found that there was only one bidder for both lots. So, the process was canceled.

The deadline for submitting applications for commercial spaces was extended for several times because only one company – Lagardere - presented the participation documents.
