The General Police Inspectorate opened 13 criminal cases over the keeping and distribution of child pornography. According to the head of the General Police Inspectorate Ion Bodrug, the suspects face one to three years in jail. They are investigated on the outside, IPN reports.
In May-August, there was monitored the activity of Internet users who distributed pornographic pictures and videos showing children. The suspects are aged between 27 and 50 and are from different social groups, including students and company directors. Two of the suspects have children aged between five months and 10 years, said Ion Bodrug.
He also said that more than 4,000 pornographic pictures and over 13,000 pornographic videos with children aged between 4 and 12 years have been identified until now.
