Three candidates will be proposed to Parliament for filling the vacancy of director of the Administration Board of the National Agency for Energy Regulation. These are Anna Butenko, Alexei Taran and Vasile Plamadeala, who were selected by the Parliament’s committee on economy, budget and finance at a public contest, IPN reports.
The commission Tuesday held the interview stage. “We did our best to have a transparent and inclusive competition. We want a professional, upright and competent person there. We will not accept less than that,” said the committee’s head Dumitru Alaiba.
The National Agency for Energy Regulation is managed by an Administration Board that consists of five directors. One of the posts of director fell vacant following the resignation tendered by Ștefan Creangă. The Agency’s current director general is Veaceslav Untila, while Octavian Calmîc, Eugen Carpov and Violina Șpac serve as directors.
In accordance with the legislation, the directors of the Administration Board are named to post by Parliament as a result of a contest.
