Three Moldovans arrested in Ukraine extradited

Three Moldovans, one of whom is suspected of procuring, while the other two of illegally crossing the state border, were arrested on the territory of Ukraine and extradited to the Moldovan authorities, IPN reports, with reference to the Border Police.

The man accused of procuring is 30-years-old. He was put on the wanted list in 2016. After cooperating with the Moldovan authorities, the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine managed to arrest the culprit and to extradite him. The man was placed in remand detention and faces a fine of 32,500 lei to 67,500 lei or two to five years in jail.

In the second case, the two minors aged 16 and 17 at the start of May robbed a home in Stefan Voda town and later crossed the state border through a non-permitted area. They were caught in Ukraine and extradited to Moldova. The minors are investigated outside remand.
