Three more Moldovans to benefit from internship in office of Bundestag member
Three young persons from Moldova will leave for Berlin on March 1 for a 15-week internship in the office of a member of the German Bundestag under the International Parliamentary Scholarship program, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The program offers 120 politically interested young people from 28 countries the unique possibility to get to know the German parliamentary system through a five-month stay in Germany.
Julia Kahrl, charge d'affaires at the German Embassy in Chisinau, said since 2008 the diplomatic mission has helped three-four young persons from Moldova to obtain such scholarships and familiarize themselves with the political and decision making process in a real democracy.
Natalia Bantos, one of the three Moldovan young persons, is sure she will enrich her knowledge of the German legislative system and political parties and will be able to establish relations with representatives of Berlin's universities.
The program is implemented under the auspices of the German Bundestag in cooperation with Berlin's three universities. The scholarship includes: monthly stipend of € 450.00, free accommodations, health, accident, and liability insurance, reimbursement of the travel expenses to and from Berlin. Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2010.
