The wharf-like border crossing points “Soroca” (interstate), “Vasilcau” and “Cosauti” were closed on a temporary basis. According to the Border Police, such a decision was taken following the rise in the level of water in the Nistru River, IPN reports.

The Border Police warns the participants in transfrontier traffic who plan to cross the border through the mentioned points to use the services of other checkpoints situated nearby.

A report will be issued when the border crossing points resume work.
