Trade Unions Confederation will not be able to annul lease contract with “Iunosti”
The Chisinau District Economic Court canceled the lawsuit filed by the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova, whereby it asked annulling a lease contract signed in 2004 with the Sports Club “Iunosti” for a period of 20 years, Info-Prim Neo reports.
This July, the Confederation sold the building of the sports club by direct negotiations to Molint Grup SRL. The Ministry of Youth and Sport also filed a lawsuit, demanding that the sale-purchase contract be annulled.
Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, general consultant at the Ministry's Legal Division Andrei Cojocaru said the young sportspersons need that building and they will fight for it. He also said it is illegal to sell trade union property without auction, only by direct negotiations.
Earlier, former directors of trade union companies said in a news conference the trade union property is sold at derisory prices by a group of trade union officials, headed by the Confederation's chairman Oleg Budza. This property is bought by private companies that belong to the same persons.
