Five persons were killed on Saturday, October 10, in two road accidents that happened in different regions of Moldova. Tudor Capatana, spokesman for the General Police Commissariat, has told Info-Prim Neo that an Opel car collided with a truck on the Balti-Edinet route, not far from Recea village of Rascani district, at 21.10 The driver of the Opel aged 28 and his 29-year-old passenger were killed. Several minutes later, a car ran into a tree on the Molovata-Oxentea route and caught fire. Three men aged 32, 36 and 27 lost their lives. Fifteen traffic accidents happened in Moldova over the weekend. They resulted in five deaths and 13 persons injured.
