A citizen of Turkey aged 71, with a permit of stay in the municipality of Chisinau, died because of COVID-19 at the National Clinical Hospital, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
The man was admitted to the National Clinical Hospital in a serious state on April 25. He suffered from hypothyroidism, hypertensive heart disease and acute pancreatitis.
The Embassy of Turkey in Moldova is to perform all the repatriation procedures.
