The Chisinau City Hall received 22 applications for compensations from persons who were injured in the grenade explosion in the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau on October 14, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the City Hall's Public Relations Division. The compensations will be paid from the reserve fund. Seventeen applications have been processed so far. Five are being processed. Forty-two persons were hurt in the explosion during the festivities dedicated to Chisinau's Day. Twenty-five of them have been hospitalized. At Monday's meeting of the City Hall, mayor Dorin Chirtoaca asked the General Police Commissariat to provide information about the other five grenade explosions that occurred this year. Five persons of the 25 remain in the hospital. According to the acting head of the Health Division Luminita Suveica, the given persons will be discharged the coming days. The victims will be further provided with psychological assistance.
