Two electromobiles donated by Moldovan-Chinese center to run via “Milestii Mici” basements

Two electromobile vehicles will travel through the underground wine town “Milestii Mici” from October 12. They were donated by the Moldovan-Chinese center for socioeconomic cooperation. Shi Yanlin, director of the company “All Friends”, who also heads the center’s branch in Beijing, said they wanted to contribute to keeping the natural patrimony and an unpolluted environment in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The collection of “Milestii Mici” represents both the country’s patrimony and the Moldovan people’s patrimony. We aimed to contribute to keeping this patrimony. “Milestii Mici” owns the largest collection in the world and is visited by a high number of tourists. These vehicles will help ensure an ecological environment and better traveling conditions for tourists,” said Shi Yanlin. The electronic vehicles are set in motion by a storage battery. They accommodate five persons each and were bought for over US$10,000. Gheorghe Castravet, director of the underground wine town “Milestii Mici”, said the donation will contribute to diversifying the excursions organized for tourists, including for foreign delegations. “Such electromobiles run in wineries in a number of countries. They represent an indispensable element in organizing trips and help keep the environment clean. I’m glad that there is such firm cooperation between the Moldovan and Chinese parties and that the wines of “Milestii Mici” are sold on the Chinese market. The Chinese people deserve having good, natural wines,” he stated. The donation for “Milestii Mici” is neither the first nor the last made by the Moldovan-Chinese center for socioeconomic cooperation in Moldova, said Shi Yanlin. Before Christmas, the center will bring to Moldova a container with school supplies for children from socially deprived families. Next year, the center pans to donate by a set of school supplies to every first grader in Moldova. “As a businessman, I know that earning is a major goal, but not the most important. Every year, a part of our company’s incomes goes for charity in Moldova. We will be making effort to promote Moldova’s image and the Moldovan wines abroad and to make donations to those who are in need. We are sorry that we came to Moldova so late. We should have started such acts 300 years ago,” said “All Friends” director Shi Yanlin. The Moldovan-Chinese center for socioeconomic cooperation was registered in Moldova in 2009. Its key objective is to establish partnerships between the two countries.
