Two Moldovan sportsmen win bronze at European Weightlifting Championship
The Moldovan athletes achieved extraordinary results at the European Weightlifting Championship held in Minsk. In the 69kg class, Alexandru Spac won a bronze medal in clean and jerk, with the result of 168kg, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In snatch, he lifted 138 kg so that in the general rankings he takes the fourth position with the result of 306 kg. This is the greatest accomplishment of the young Moldovan sportsman.
On the first contest day, Moldovan athlete Iurie Dudoglo also won bronze, in the 56 kg class snatch.
Moldova's Andrei Barca (77kg class), Dumitru Tabara (85 kg), Eugen Bratan (94kg) and Anatol Caracu (94kg) will enter the competition the next days.
