If parliamentary elections were held in Moldova next Sunday, two parties would enter Parliament as a result of these – the Party of Socialists (PSRM) and the Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS), shows a survey by the CBS AXA Center of Sociological Investigations and Marketing Research that was presented in a news conference on July 6.
The PSRM would gain 31.2% of the vote, while the PAS – 14.2%. The rest of the parties, including those that are now in power, would not pass the election threshold of 6%, IPN reports.
According to the survey, the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” (PPPDA) would poll 4.4% of the ballot, the Democratic Party (PDM) – 4.4%, “Our Party” (PPPN) – 2.8%, the Party of Communists (PCRM) – 2.3%, the European People’s Party of Moldova (PPEM) –1%, while the Liberal Party (PL) – 0.6%.
A similar survey presented this February shows that the PSRM would win 32.4% of the poll, PAS –18.1%, PPPDA – 3.6%, PDM – 2.7%, PCRM – 2.7%, PPPN – 2%, PPEM – 0.5%, while PL – 0.3%.
If legislative elections were held in Moldova next Sunday, 49.4% of those surveyed are absolutely sure they would go to vote, 20.7% are sure they would go, while 5.3% would probably not go. Some 10.8% are sure they would not go to vote, while 3.2% could not say or didn’t answer.
The survey covered a sample of 1,164 persons who were interviewed during June 20-30, 2017. The margin of sampling error is 2.8%.
