The police have arrested two persons suspected to have murdered a taxi driver on the Chisinau-Hancesti road a week ago. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the suspects are a 33 year old man and a 27 year old woman, arrested in Ceadir-Lunga district, Info-Prim Neo reports. The man was previously tried and sentenced for robbery, theft and other crimes. According to the police, the suspects confessed. The investigators found in their possession things that belonged to the murdered woman. They will be charged with premeditated murder. If they are found guilty, the suspects will face jail terms between 12 and 20 years of even life sentence. The 34 year old taxi driver was found dead on the road between Chisinau and Hancesti, near Ialoveni town. Her body had knife cuts on the throat and on the abdomen. The woman was from Budesti, Chisinau Municipality.
