Two young men aged 18 from Calinesti village, Falesti district, have been arrested as suspects in the murder of a fellow villager, IPN learned from a press release of the General Inspectorate of Police.

The body of a 49 year old man was discovered on Monday, January 5, in his own home, with sign of a violent death. The forensic investigation revealed that the man died because of multiple head and belly injuries caused with a blunt object. Shortly after, the police found and arrested two suspects who currently being held for interrogation.

If they are found guilty, the duo risk between 15 and 20 years in jail or even a life sentence.

The police are still investigating the incident to shed light on all the circumstances.
