In the last match of the tournament played on Dinamo Stadium in Chisinau, the Moldovan rugby players demolished Croatia's team 23-5, mainly due to Dumitru Lungu, Victor Belic, Alexandru Sacovschi and Ion Capcaliuc. In the game for the bronze, Israel hammered Norway 71-0. Moldova's team trained by Nicolae Bragarenco won thus the right to play in European rugby competitions of the next higher level in their age group.
