The team of the State Agrarian University of Moldova (UASM) won the Men’s Basketball Cup of Moldova. In the final match on December 26, they beat the squad of the Academy of Economic Studies (ASEM) 82-63, Info-Prim Neo reports. Ion Cropotov, of the UASM, was the best scorer of the game (30 points). In the women’s final, ASEM defeated the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) 74-66. The best scorer of the winning team was captain Margarita Schitsko (29 points), while of the UTM squad - Ala Causan (24 points). The winners received cups, medals, diplomas and money awards from the Basketball Federation of Moldova.
