Ukrainian citizen dies from pandemic flu in Moldova
The eighth victim of pandemic influenza in Moldova died in the Cahul District Hospital on November 17.
Sources in the National Scientific Practical Center of Preventive Medicine have told Info-Prim Neo that the victim is a Ukrainian citizen from Kharkov town who came to visit his sister living in a settlement of Cahul district.
Six days ago, he was diagnosed with bilateral bronchopneumonia and was admitted into the hospital in Cahul. He was receiving treatment, but his condition worsened. On November 17, he passed away.
Five men and three women have died from pandemic flu in Moldova so far.
