The Exhibitions Center “Constantin Brancusi” in Chisinau houses the 70th personal exhibition of the Ukrainian painter Nicolae Prokopenko titled “Southern Sun”. The exhibit will be open until August 27, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Nicolae Prokopenko is a hardworking artist. This exhibition is the result of his work. He wouldn’t have had so many paintings here if he had not worked so industriously. It is amazing how he connected the glaring colors so that they are harmonious, not dazzling,” plastic artist Victor Hristov said at the opening of the exhibition on Tuesday. Painter Ion Dadii said that the master displayed all his creative skills in his works, which are appreciated by a whole world. Nicolae Prokopenko has participated in 367 regional, national and international exhibits. The painter from Odessa is known in Moldova also as an active participant in “Moldova’s Salons”.
