“The union with Romania is the only realistic political solution for Moldova’s future. There is no other solution for a safer future for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova,” noted Romanian MP Eugen Tomac, executive president of the People’s Movement Party of Romania.

“We promote with seriousness the project of Moldova’s union with Romania as the only realistic political solution by which the two sides of the Prut, the Romanians from both banks of the Prut who were separated against their will, can reunite. We meet with the citizens and discuss, but what seems most important to me is to be sincere towards those with whom we speak. I did it every time convinced that I say exactly what I believe and feel,” Eugen Tomac said in a news conference at IPN.

Eugen Tomac said he promotes the objective of Moldova’s union with Romania together with Constantin Codreanu, who is the candidate for mayor of Chisinau of the National Unity Party. “There is no other solution for a safer future for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova. Romania is the European Union of which the citizens of Chisinau municipality dream. There is no other solution for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova to obtain a safer future and better living if the politicians do not understand that the union with Romania is the safest and shortest way,” he stated

The Romanian MP said the vote for Constantin Codreanu means a vote for a better future for Chisinau and for the rapprochement with the European Union and Romania.
