The graduates of the State University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics “Nicolae Testemitanu” swore the Hippocratic oath at a ceremony that was held at the National Palace in Chisinau on June 15, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Dressed in robes, the graduates said they will celebrate until morning so as not to forget this remarkable event. “The parents gave us flowers and we gave them to our teachers,” said a graduate. After the festive part, the graduates will celebrate the event at a place starting at 18.00.
A number of 739 students have graduated from the State University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics “Nicolae Testemitanu” this year. 130 of them are from abroad, from such countries as Israel, Ukraine, Germany, India, Syria, Russia, Bulgaria, Iran. 450 of the graduates studied general medicine, 158 – dentistry, while the others - pharmaceutics and public health.
