The Moldovan national men's team had a disappointing start at the 2010 Liebherr World Team Table Tennis Championships having lost all three matches in the third division of the tournament, Info-Prim Neo reports. Igor Ni, Dorin Brynza and Teodor Olaru lost to their rivals from Algeria, Ireland and Ecuador. In the upcoming matches the Moldovan team will face the Dominican Republic and Indonesia. In the women's tournament, the Moldovan team defeated Columbia, 3-2, but lost to Sweden and Bulgaria. In the last two matches Olga Bliznets, Elena Mokrousov and Irina Shmyganovsky will encounter Thailand and Canada. The 2010 Liebherr World Team Table Tennis Championships is hosted by Moscow during May 23-30.
