Former Democratic MP Valentina Buliga was appointed director general of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM). A decision to this effect was taken by the Cabinet following the dismissal of Angela Belobrov from this post, IPN reports.

Prime Minister Ion Chicu said Valentina Buliga is a good specialist. She earlier served as director general of the National House of Social Insurance, but was sacked in June 2019. In 2009-2015, Valentina Buliga held the post of minister of labor, social protection and family.

Premier Chicu noted Angela Belobrov will continue to work for the central public administration.

In the same meeting, the Cabinet named Corneliu Soltan as deputy director general of the Public Property Agency.

Larisa Celac was fired as head of the Soroca Local Office of the State Chancellery. She was named vice director of the same institution, in charge of Drochia district. Her place was taken by Vladimir Ceban.
