The Cabinet today reconfirmed Vasile Șaramet as director of the Civil Aviation Authority.

“This proposal comes as a result of legal amendments under which the management of administrative authorities reporting to the ministries are positions of public dignity and require this change in the statute”, explained Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spînu.

The appointment by the Government is to take effect on August 22.

Vasile Șaramet has served for the Civil Aviation Authority since 2016, and since 2021 he has been holding the position of director.
