The interim Cabinet reinstated Veaceslav Untila as head of the State Ecological Inspectorate, abrogating a Government decision of 2013, by which this was dismissed. Vitalie Curarari, who was named director after Veaceslav Untila was dismissed, was fired, IPN reports.

Acting Deputy Minister of the Environment Lazar Chirica said that the decision of 2013 had to be abrogated in accordance with a decision of the Chisinau Appeals Court, which ruled that Veaceslav Untila was discharged from his post illegally.

The same day the interim Cabinet accepted the resignation from the post of deputy director general of the Forestry Agency “Moldsilva” tendered by Fiodor Botnari.
