The traffic on Pushkin St in Chisinau had been paralyzed for half an hour in the morning of December 11 following a road accident that involved a trolleybus running on route No.7. There are no casualties.
The accident happened in front of the National Palace “Nicolae Sulac” at about 8.30. No vehicle could cross the area during over half an hour. The column of trolleybuses stretched up to Mateevici St.
Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the head of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Gheorghe Morgoci said that a vehicle parked in front of the National Palace “Nicolae Sulac” set off unexpectedly as its brake broke down, in the absence of the driver. It struck a passing trolleybus. The driver of the trolleybus did not manage to avoid the impact.
The police are to establish who is to blame for the accident.
