Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița signed an order by which Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vladimir Bolea is assigned to manage the Ministry of Environment on an interim basis.

Vladimir Bolea will this way be in charge of two ministries until a new minister of environment is appointed.

Iuliana Cantaragiu resigned as minister of environment at the beginning of September. She formed part of the government team with which Premier Natalia Gavrilița went to Parliament to ask for a vote of confidence in August 2021.
