The wall of a two-story building located in the historical center of Chisinau fell down while an excavator was digging a pit on Wednesday afternoon. Dorina Cruc, spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the head of the construction site asked the company that was based in the two-story building situated at the intersection of the streets Anton Pann and Sfantul Ilie to leave the building for a period. Shortly after the company's employees went to have a meal, one wall collapsed. Rescuers and employees of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service went to the scene and checked the building. The damage caused has not been yet assessed.
