The Liberal Party (PL) considers that Nicolae Timofti will be a symbol of the law. “We are witnesses to a historical event. We were hostage of a deficient mechanism implemented by the predecessors with the aim of hampering the positive political developments. We looked for this solution for a long time. After we overcome this moment, we will come closer to solving other problems. The AEI found the key and I think that this day will be historical,” the head of the Liberal parliamentary group Ion Hadarca, said in the March 16 sitting of Parliament, Info-Prim Neo reports. The MP said that Nicolae Timofti is an excellent judge and a man of law and a judge who is a leader in his guild cannot observe other principles than the respect for the law. “Nicolae Timofti is an authority in his field. He showed that his principles coincide with our government principles. We wish you to be just and you will be rewarded justly,” said Ion Hadarca. The leader of the Liberal faction stressed that the Communist parliamentary opposition became an extra-parliamentary one and risks becoming extra-legal and extra-state by its calls to disobedience. “We think that these are not appropriate principles for a group of persons elected by the people. The European integration should be a priority. I believe we will be able to successfully complete this mandate and to ensure stability and a better image for Moldova abroad,” stated Ion Hadarca.
