The last two Moldovan athletes at the European Weightlifting Championship in Minsk finished the competition, Info-Prim Neo reports. Anatol Caracu, 94 kg class, won a bronze medal in clean and jerk with a total of 308 kg. In snatch, he lifted 108 kg and took the fourth position in the general rankings. The other Moldovan weightlifter, Eugen Bratan (94 kg), failed in all the clean and jerk attempts. This is the third bronze won by Moldovan athletes at the European Weightlifting Championship. The first two were obtained by Iurie Dudoglo (56 kg) and Alexandru Spac (69 kg).
