A woman aged 69 fell into a sewage well in Pepeni village of Sângerei district on Tuesday evening. She was taken out by rescuers safe, but suffered a leg fracture when falling, IPN reports.

According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the rescue team that was dispatched to the scene established that the woman was at a depth of five meters. She was in a conscious state.

During at most 15 minutes, the rescuers took the woman out with the help of specialized equipment. The woman suffered a leg fracture and was taken by an ambulance to the district hospital for medical care.
