Yellow code warning against fires
Weather forecasters issued a yellow code warning of exceptional danger of fires for September 22-28. They predicted a class five phenomenon when the probability of fires is the highest.
Elena Poian, of the State Hydrometeorology Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the exceptional danger of fires is due to the persisting high temperatures and the shortage of precipitation.
The average temperatures the next days will vary between +22 and +28 degrees Celsius during the day and +7 and +13 degrees Celsius at night. No rain is forecast until the end of the month.
