A man, 22, has been arrested in Chisinau while transporting 150 bottles of “Kvint Siurpriznyi” valued at 110,000 lei, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of Interior, the bottles of brandy were found in a “Daewoo-Nexia”, which was stopped for verification on Ismail Street . When interrogated by the police, the driver could not produce any papers or permits for the cargo, claiming he bought the liquor in Transnistria. If found guilty of transporting, keeping and selling goods subject to excises, without their respective marking with control or excise marks, the driver risks a fine of 200 to 500 lei, with the confiscation of the respective goods.
