A 21-year-old Chisinau man died unexpectedly, shortly after being placed in the intensive care section of the Emergency Hospital. The managing doctor of the Chisinau Emergency Service Silvia Babara told Info-Prim Neo the young man fainted at a karting track in Buiucani sector. His friend called an ambulance that took him to the hospital. Unfortunately, the medics couldn’t save him. The exact cause of death is yet unknown. A 23-year-old woman got attacked with a knife for not giving another woman a cigarette. She escaped with a neck bruise. The incident happened at about 12.30 on Varlaam Street and is being investigated by the police. A 14-year-old boy fell off a cherry tree and was hospitalized with cerebral concussion and numerous bruises. He is receiving treatment in Valentin Ignatenco Hospital. A woman from Glodeni, aged 60, fell in a passenger minibus after the driver had suddenly braked. She injured her head and thigh. Over the last 24 hours, the Emergency Service registered 736 calls, including 67 traumas, 83 viral infections, 10 strokes, 3 myocardial infractions and 17 births.
