A man aged 31 was found dead on the roadside in Chetrosu village of Drochia district. The police identified the car by which the man was allegedly struck and are looking for the hit-and-run driver.

Drochia Police Inspectorate press officer Ina Moscaliuc has told IPN that the young man noticed near a filling station by a driver who called the 112 Service. The police identified the man as a local. There were traces left by the car that supposedly hit the man nearby.

The last time the man was seen in the company of three men from the same village with whom he drank alcoholic beverages.
