A woman in her 50s was discovered dead in a puddle of blood on a street in Durlesti. Shortly afterward, the police arrested a man aged 23 suspected of killing the woman. He was earlier tried for murder, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the police, when the suspect was arrested, he had blood on his clothes and shoes. The man confessed that he stabbed the woman several times as he had a hostile relation with her. At Monday's meeting of the Chisinau City Hall offices, the municipal police chief Silviu Musuc said the murder in Durlesti was the only serous crime reported last week. According to official statistics, 67 persons have been killed in Moldova since the start of this year. The offenders in seven cases have not been yet identified.
