A 32-year-old man was stuck last night on a rock in Fetești village of Edineț district. When he realized that he could not descend from a height of 35 meters, he asked for the help of rescuers, IPN reports.

The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations said that the call to 112 was registered close to 06:00 p.m. According to the received information, the man climbed a rock in the stone quarry and could not get off.

Rescuers from Regional Search and Rescue Division No. 2 of Balti municipality travelled to the scene. They found an access way to the person in difficulty and, with the help of specialized equipment, managed to take the 32-year-old man down at around 09:00 p.m.

The young man did not suffer trauma, but was handed over to doctors for examinations.
