A man aged 22 died in a car accident in Furceni village of Orhei district in the morning of October 4. The driver of the car in which he travelled lost control of the vehicle and this overturned when hitting the curb. The driver, who was under the influence of alcohol, and another two passengers needed medical care, IPN reports.
According to the National Patrolling Inspectorate, the accident happened about 3.30am. The inebriated 25-year-old driver was speeding. There were two more passengers aged 19 and 20 in the car. They were all returning from distractions.
The Inspectorate warns that driving under the influence can lead to such consequences and innocent persons suffer in most of the cases.
