A truck overturned near Horodiste village of Calarasi district on Tuesday, March 23. The 24-year-old driver was hospitalized in a serious condition. According to the Traffic Police Division's press service, the man was speeding and lost control of the car at a turn. He was admitted to the reanimatology section of the Calarasi district hospital with multiple traumas. An 11-year-old girl was struck by a car on a crosswalk in Straseni town. She was rushed to the hospital with her left leg fractured. Two persons were injured in a traffic accident near Sipca village of Soldanesti district. The 27-year-old driver of a Honda tried to outstrip a car, but made a U-turned and crashed his car into a Volkswagen-Passat. The driver and the passenger aged 42 suffered cranial-cerebral traumas, concussion and other injuries. A 59-year-old woman was hit by a car in the yard of a building located on Albisoara St in Chisinau. She sustained serious injuries. The driver left the scene without giving first aid to the victim. Five persons were hurt in four road accidents in Moldova on March 23. Another 20 accidents caused no victims.
