Young Moldovans Judokas defeated at World Championship
Moldovan Judokas failed to impress at Juniors’ World Championship in Morocco, which ended on Sunday, October 24. Moldova’s 3 representatives have been eliminated in the early stages of the competition, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In men’s tournament, 60 kg category, Eugeniu Vreme defeated Murat Dogan from Turkey in the first round, but lost to Japan’s Toru Shishime in the second. In the 73 kg category, Constatin Arpentin was eliminated by Turkish Judoka Tanju Sorli.
In women’s competition, 48 kg category, Tatiana Osoianu was beaten by So-Yuen Moon from South Korea.
About 600 Judokas from 78 countries have participated in the World Championship.
The next big competition for Judokas is the national championship, which will take place in December.
