The two young persons who hoisted the flag of Romania on the building of the Presidential Office on April 7, 2009 have been fined 75 conventional units each or 1,500 lei, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the two are students. “Taking into account the fact that the given persons committed a minor offense for the first time and admitted their guilt, the Prosecutor General’s Office decided not to hold them criminally accountable,” the institutions says in a communiqué. The prosecutors ordered punishing them administratively.
