Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Eufalia Negreata has told Info-Prim Neo that unidentified persons on Saturday night informed that a young woman was lying in a pool of blood on Cuza Voda Blvd. When the ambulance arrived, the woman was in a hemorrhagic shock. She had serious injuries all over her body. She had been beaten by her husband with a half of a broken bottle. A boy of about three was crying not far from the lying woman. It is not yet known if it is the couple's child. The boy was taken by the police. An investigation is under way. The woman underwent serious operations throughout the night. An inebriated 45-year-old man was stabbed by his female partner in the abdomen. He responded by hitting the woman aged 41 with an ax in the parietal region. Both were rushed to the Emergency Hospital. Two families living next to each other in Gratiesti commune attacked each other with cudgels because neither of them wanted to admit who was to blame for the leakage of sewage in the street. The seven members of the families were taken to the hospital with multiple injuries. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 778 calls, dealing with 101 cases of heart trouble, 199 pediatric cases and 88 cases of trauma.
