The latest construction technologies, equipment and materials as well as the most innovative energy conservation, thermal and air conditioning equipment are presented at the international exhibitions Moldconstruct, the 26th edition, and Moldenergy, the 25th edition. The events, which brough together over 130 participants, will run during March 28-31 at Moldexpo.
At the inauguration event, Zinaida Popa, interim director of Moldexpo, urged the participants to join forces “to build a new European Moldova that is sustainable and anchored in the values of humanity and peace”.

Jānis Mažeiks, the EU ambassador to Moldova, noted that, together with the partners, Moldova succeeded in eliminating the dependence on gas supply from Gazprom and in increasing the security of energy supply by diversifying sources. He said that the most modern and ecological solutions for a society resilient to energy crises and for a European Moldova will be presented at the exhibition.
Daniela Gasparikova, UNDP Resident Representative to Moldova, reaffirmed the commitment to support Moldova in achieving its commitments under the Paris Agreement and the European Green Pact, noting that UNDP is a partner of Moldova in achieving the goals of a sustainable energy sector.
