Traffic restrictions in the center of the capital city will be in place on Saturday and Sunday in connection with the running competitions for children and adults "Half Marathon", organized by the sports club "Sporter", IPN reports.

The Chisinau City Hall said that the section of Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd between the streets A. Pushkin and M. Cebotari will be closed to vehicle traffic on Saturday. Public passenger transport, trolleybuses and buses running on routes on this section will be diverted to București St or to adjoining streets, in both directions.

The section of Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd between the streets Toma Ciorbă and Ciuflea and between Ciuflea St and Dacia Blvd (viaduct, towards the center) will be inaccessible to vehicle traffic on Sunday.

The local authorities said the routes of public transport will be changed.
