The repair works on taxiway "B" at Chisinau International Airport have been completed, less than a week after the beginning of the intervention. The 350 meters long and 23 meters wide section is fully functional again and ready to support air traffic.

During the repairs, technical teams rehabilitated the road surface, removed degraded areas and treated joints between concrete slabs. A special accelerated curing concrete was used to quickly resume operations.

The airport administration, quoted by IPN, says the work is part of an ongoing infrastructure maintenance program aimed at ensuring safe and efficient flight conditions.

Runway 'B', built in 1987, required the work after cracks and unevenness developed over time.
