21 new ambulances delivered to 16 emergency medical assistance units

Sixteen emergency medical assistance units on February 22 received new ambulances, IPN reports, quoting the National Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance Center.

The 21 B type ambulances were distributed to units in the municipality of Chisinau and Bălți and in the districts of Briceni, Edineț, Fălești, Florești, Glodeni, Sângerei, Soroca, Cahul, Cantemir, Taraclia, Comrat, and Ceadâr- Lunga.

The units of transport meet all the international standards in the field, while their medical equipment enables to provide emergency medical assistance of the highest level.

The 21 ambulances are the second tranche of the 168 ambulances that are to be delivered to Moldova until the end of 2021. On February 10 this year, the first 20 B type ambulances were distributed to 12 emergency medical assistance units in the country.
